   Theme: "justify"

The theme "justify" was chosen as the fifth theme because before a just God can allow us into His presence, we must be perfect -- just as He is perfect. The term "justify" is just one of many manifestations of what we receive when God imputes to us "righteousness". Therefore, most of the verses used in this study pertain to the overarching term "righteousness".

The theme "justify" in this Bible Study will be reviewed in three ways:

Study by Research: What does the Bible say "justify" means?
Twelve Bible verses that include a reference to the word "justify" -- and the more general rendering, the word "righteous". Students are to read and determine for themselves the meaning of the term "justify" based on how it is used in the specified verses in the Bible.
Study by Definition: What do the scholars say "justify" means?
A formal approach to studying the meaning of the term "justify". Explanations from Theological reference materials are provided for the students review.
Study by Narrative: How do you apply the meaning of "justify" to your life?
A reading from Online Bible College module 109-12: A Study in the Book of Romans: Romans 5:1-21
