Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified (qadash) it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Jer 17:24 And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow (qadash) the sabbath day, to do no work therein;

Jer 17:27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow (qadash) the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

Jer 22:7 And I will prepare (qadash) destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast [them] into the fire.

Jer 51:27 Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare (qadash) the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers.

Jer 51:28 Prepare (qadash) against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.

Eze 7:24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places (qadash) shall be defiled.
